-League starts September 16th 2018, will consist of 24 guaranteed games (23 regular & 1 playoff) and conclude on March 31st 2019, with two weeks off at Christmas and a week off on Super Bowl Sunday

-26 weeks of Sunday night hockey all being played on Rink ONE at Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter arena

-Costs for the program this winter will be $510 per player. As in past years we will offer split payment options for those who need it. $300 due by 9-9-2018 and the final $230 due by 12-9-2018

-ALL players participating in the league will need to register with USA Hockey and provide verification number when registering on the SASHL website.

-Game times will be as follows:  5:30, 6:50, 8:10, and 9:30.  The schedule is laid out fair to where all teams pretty much have equal ice times at all time slots.

-Each game will have Two paid referees and a scorekeeper.  Complete statistics will be kept on all games and players and uploaded to our website on a weekly basis

-There will be EIGHT teams consisting of a maximum of 12 skaters and one goaltender (one less player than last year)

-Games will have three 20 minute running periods, with the ice being “flooded” between games only!

-Jerseys and socks are provided with the league logo on the front and numbers on the rear. This winter we purchased new jerseys and plan on using them for a couple seasons. 

-In the past, and again for current participants, we will allow two players to "split" one position. In the event of this, ONE player MUST pay the full amount, and the "split" player then works it out to share or reimburse the paid player. This then will be noted in the "comments" box when you register

-We try to honor any requests where possible, so make sure you include them in the comments section. 
-The deadline for registration will be draft night Sunday September 9, 2018.   After this date, we can NOT guarantee that any late registered players will get into the league

-As players register, we will import their data to the "registration verification" section of this website. This is nothing more than you verifying that the league actually DID receive your registration. This also allows potential registrants to see who is already in the program and may stimulate others to join up

-Registration will CLOSE when we hit 104 paid player positions. Anybody who misses the deadline will have to sign up as a potential replacement player in the event we lose any players right off the bat (this does happen every now & then)

-Any NEW players who have NOT participated in a previous SASHL winter program, will need to obtain a valid USA hockey registration number. Do NOT purchase this number until you know for sure that you get into our league.

-This is primarily a 35 & over league, however; we will not rule out any players under 35 getting in the league.  NEW players who have NOT participated in a previous SASHL winter program should talk with the board BEFORE making a payment.
